Negotiations Continue to Resume Unimpeded Movement through the Lachin Corridor: Russian Defense Ministry
The command of the Russian peacekeepers continues the negotiation process with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides regarding the resumption of unimpeded movement of motor transport along the Stepanakert-Goris road. This was mentioned in the daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It was noted that the Russian peacekeeping forces continue to fulfill the tasks assigned to them in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the source, the Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at 30 observation posts and overseeing the observance of the ceasefire regime.
A humanitarian convoy with supplies has been escorted along the Goris-Stepanakert route. Patrols have been conducted in the Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions along three routes. A humanitarian action for the provision of food has been held at the children’s rehabilitation center in Stepanakert. Continuous cooperation with the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia is maintained to ensure the security of the Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents,” the report stated.
