A Spy Group Arrested in Azerbaijan on Suspicion of Working for Iran

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has arrested seven individuals on suspicion of working for Iran, according to local media reports. The special operation was reportedly carried out at the Azerbaijani SalamNews news agency and the Interaz TV channel.

Seven people have been detained in Baku and the regions, including A. T. Kerimov, E. A. Rahimov, I. A. Alekperov, M. N. Jafarov, G. G. Jabarlins, F. S. Abdulov, and A. A. Jumshudov.

It has been noted that these media outlets were involved in promoting Iran’s political agenda and interests.
