VIDEO: Nzhdeh Dance Group Banned From Performing in Moscow - What's the Reason?

The Armenian traditional dance group 'Nzhdeh' operating in Moscow was unable to hold its concert titled 'My Name is Struggle'. This information was shared by Gagik Ginosyan, a fighter of the 'Liberation Army', president of the 'Karin' cultural non-governmental organization, and a distinguished figure in Armenian culture, through his Facebook page.

'A few days ago, there were collective howls regarding the name of the group. Today, without any more excuses to ban the concert dedicated to the Armenian army's holiday, they resorted to an insane path, declaring that there was a bomb in the concert hall. After freezing the audience and the members of the 'Nzhdeh' group for several hours in Moscow's winter chill, it was ultimately announced that holding the concert was impossible,' wrote Ginosyan.

In a conversation with Auroranews, local Armenians stated that the representatives of the Moscow 'Izmaylovo' concert hall and shopping center informed the concert organizers and participants that the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations had received a report about the presence of a bomb in the concert hall, which led to the concert's cancellation.

Local Armenians noted that this was a provocative action against them, reporting that a café in the same building continued to operate without interruption. 'Interestingly, the evacuation of the khinkali place located in the same building as the concert did not concern them. This means that they do not allow our concerts related to Nzhdeh's name, associated with our army's day; they are now belittling the Armenian community in Russia in this way,' said Maria Arosyan, who was in the 'Izmaylovo' concert hall area at that time.

Meanwhile, specialists from Russia's operational services and law enforcement announced that inspections were conducted at around 10 shopping centers in Moscow due to reports of bomb threats.

Later, it became known that the information regarding the bomb threat at the 'Izmaylovo' concert hall and shopping center in Moscow was false.
