Erdogan Attempts to Incite Issues Between Sweden and Finland

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated in a recent televised address that Turkey may grant its approval for Finland's accession to NATO. This announcement comes in the context where Turkey is creating serious issues regarding Sweden and is even refusing to support NATO's expansion across the Scandinavian Peninsula, according to Russian media reports.

Erdogan hinted that a letter might be sent to Finland, potentially catching Sweden off guard. Additionally, the Turkish president warned Finland not to make the same mistakes as Sweden. He also reiterated that Sweden had been provided with a list of 120 terrorists who needed to be extradited. Erdogan emphasized this condition once again, suggesting that without extradition, it is unlikely Turkey would agree to NATO membership.
