VIDEO: Severe Flooding in New Zealand

A state of emergency has been declared in New Zealand due to severe flooding. In the country's largest city, Auckland, the airport has also been inundated, with reports indicating at least one person has died.

Residents are being urgently evacuated as authorities warn of hazardous weather conditions. Several events have been canceled as a result of the flooding.
