Due to the blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, children who had been separated from their families for about 47 days were welcomed at the "We Are Our Mountains" memorial in Stepanakert by their parents, friends, relatives, and many fellow citizens, reports Artsakhpress.

In an interview with the media, Inesa Grigoryan said that they faced significant challenges being away from their parents and feeling homesick. "Our days there were very good, but we missed our home, family, and loved ones very much. We were constantly only thinking about returning. That's why we prepared a special video and achieved our goal," Inesa noted.

Armine Gasparyan, who returned home, also expressed her immense longing for her parents and relatives during these days. "My happiness is immense that I have finally reached Stepanakert. There were no obstacles on the way," she added.

Before the blockade, the group of children from Artsakh had traveled to Yerevan to attend the "Junior Eurovision" song contest.
