"Next time I will not tolerate this": PACE President rebukes Azerbaijani delegate

"You are not the president; I am the president," said PACE President Tiny Cox in response to a complaint by the head of the Azerbaijani delegation, Samad Seyidov, regarding his lack of speaking time and claiming the assembly is biased. This occurred during a plenary session concerning the Lachin issue.

The matter arose when, due to time constraints, Cox announced that the discussion had come to an end, which meant Seyidov did not get the opportunity to speak. He stated in the plenary session that the assembly has a biased approach.

In response, Tiny Cox pointed out that Seyidov is familiar with the rules and that time had expired. "Now I see how biased your attitude is; if during such an important discussion you were unable to give the head of the Azerbaijani delegation the right to speak, this is indeed a biased approach. If the Armenians were able to present their views, but I, as the head of the delegation, could not, then this is biased behavior," Seyidov stated.

PACE President grew indignant and responded, "Next time I will not tolerate your breach of order. You are an experienced member of this assembly and know that such behavior is unacceptable; here, I am the president."
