We Are Not at War with Turkey: Statement from Greek Prime Minister
During a meeting with journalists in Davos, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that despite the significant tensions observed over the past three years, they are not at war with Turkey.
In response to journalist Fareed Zakaria's question regarding the danger of war due to the island of Kızılhisarlı (Meis) off the coast of Antalya, the Greek Prime Minister said, “After the elections, we need to ease tensions and reach an agreement. We are not at war with Turkey. We must establish constructive relations with Turkey and resolve fundamental disagreements, including issues related to maritime borders.”
