Two of the Three Soldiers with Burns Show Positive Health Progress, Says Health Ministry Spokesperson

As a result of a fire in a barrack located in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik province, three soldiers sustained burns, with two of them showing positive health progress. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Minister of Health, Hripsime Khachatryan, in an interview with Armenpress. She emphasized that if the health condition of the soldiers continues to improve at this rate, one of them may soon be transferred to a hospital.

The spokesperson noted that the medical staff is doing everything possible to improve the health condition of the soldiers. It is important to recall that on January 19, around 01:30, a fire occurred in the barrack designated for the personnel of the engineering battalion of the N military unit in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik province, resulting in the death of a 15-month conscript soldier. Three soldiers have been hospitalized and are receiving treatment at the National Burn Center.
