Morocco Hands Over T-72B Tanks to Ukraine

Morocco has delivered upgraded Soviet T-72B tanks to Ukraine, becoming the first African country to provide tanks to Ukraine. Reports about Morocco's plans to supply armored vehicles to Kyiv emerged back in December 2022.

This was reported by the 'Menadefense' platform, noting that the first batch of approximately 20 tanks has already been sent to the combat zone by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The tanks have been modernized at the Czech 'Excalibur Army' factory.
