Employees of a Hotel in Yerevan Steal Bag from Russian Tourist Containing $6,000

A Russian citizen, Igor N., contacted the operational management center of the RA Police, reporting that he is a tourist in Yerevan and is temporarily staying at one of the city's well-known hotel complexes. He stated that employees there had stolen his bag, which contained his mobile phone and a large sum of money. The incident occurred on January 19.

In a conversation with Auroranews, Zarsand Gabrielian, head of the Media Relations Department of the RA Police, confirmed the information and noted that the case is currently under investigation by the investigative committee.

According to information circulated in the media, Igor N. informed the police that his bag contained $6,000, and he suspects three security staff members from the mentioned hotel complex of the theft. When asked if he could name the hotel, Gabrielian declined to comment.
