VIDEO: There is a problem in Kotayk that I have seen and have not been able to solve for 5 years - Pashinyan
Our benchmark is to align state and public services, and the state itself, with the most progressive and modern standards in the world. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement during the launch of the patrol service subdivision in the Kotayk province, as reported on the Prime Minister's Facebook page.
Before his speech, Pashinyan observed a moment of silence in honor of the soldiers who lost their lives in the fire that broke out on January 19 in the barracks of the engineering and construction battalion in Gegharkunik province.
“We should take the examples of countries with populations of 3-10 million, which are classified among the most developed nations in the world. I came from Aragatsotn and didn’t see any damaged roads, but I constantly see a problem that I have not been able to solve for 5 years. People traveling on the highway need to be cautious when crossing the bridge (they need to pull away, editor’s note). I continuously see the suddenly disappearing road markings,” said Pashinyan. He noted that this is very bad because they should not be guided by eye measurement, but by standards.
