«Any Other Information Circulating on the Internet Does Not Correspond to Reality» - Information Headquarters
For about 40 days, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia has been closed due to the destructive behavior of the Azerbaijani side. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters, which particularly stated:
“We would like to inform you that during the blockade, thousands of tons of vital supplies have not been delivered to Artsakh, and the goods supplied by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian peacekeeping contingent constitute a negligible portion. During this period, various government agencies of the Republic of Artsakh have received numerous phone calls from our compatriots in Armenia and the Diaspora, as well as from various NGOs and organizations expressing a desire to send humanitarian aid to Artsakh. However, we inform you that Artsakh remains under complete blockade, and to this day, only the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian peacekeeping contingent have the opportunity to enter and exit Artsakh, while any other information circulated on the internet does not correspond to reality.
We also inform you that any fundraising not coordinated with the relevant state authorities of Artsakh is at least problematic, and the issues of Artsakh citizens located in Armenia due to the road blockade are being addressed by a working group established by the Government of Armenia in cooperation with the relevant agencies of Artsakh. For additional clarifications, you may call the Representation of the Artsakh Republic in Armenia at the following phone numbers: 044 249 977, 044 249 988,” the statement says.
