Vahagn Khachaturyan Played Piano at Dinner Invited by Estonian President

Estonian President Alar Karis invited Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and members of his delegation for a working dinner during their official visit to Tallinn. During the dinner, the Armenian president approached the piano placed in the hall and played.

Estonian President Alar Karis, impressed, wrote on his Facebook page: "There is some truth in the Armenian saying — seek a friend with the eyes of an elder, and a horse with the eyes of a youth. President Khachaturyan's visit has helped in finding common friends and also in generating innovative ideas." Leaders in IT, cybersecurity, and space technology from both countries participated in the working dinner at Maarjamäe Castle. The evening also brought real surprises; at one moment, the lid of the "Estonia" grand piano was to be raised, and the Armenian counterpart was to perform some vivid compositions. Thus, at the end of the evening, I could toast to all the talented people and note that one of my favorite musical pieces is the "Adagio" from the ballet "Spartacus" by Armenian composer Aram Khachaturyan.

During the two-day working visit, the Armenian president held meetings with the Estonian president, prime minister, IT sector officials, and representatives of the Armenian community.
