14 children are currently in the neonatal and intensive care units of a children's hospital. Nine adult patients are in intensive care, five of whom are in critical condition. A total of 132 babies have been born under blockade conditions. This information is provided in the daily report of the Artsakh information headquarters.

Due to the suspension of planned surgeries in all medical facilities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, around 400 citizens have been deprived of the opportunity for surgery due to health issues. To date, 28 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia for appropriate treatment with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

726 economic entities (17.7% of the total) have suspended their operations due to the impossibility of working under blockade conditions. As a result of the created economic difficulties, at least 3,400 people have preliminarily lost their jobs and sources of income.

The Artsakh government report states that more than 14,000 tons of essential goods would have been delivered to Artsakh if not for the blockade, during which only a tiny portion was supplied by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian peacekeeping forces.

Starting January 20, rice, pasta, buckwheat, sugar, and oil will only be sold with vouchers in Artsakh. Each citizen will receive nine vouchers at once. Each month, one kilogram of each food item and one liter of oil will be allocated to a person. The distribution of vouchers will start on January 17.
