Death Toll Rises After Missile Strike on Residential Building in Dnipro
A Russian missile struck a multi-story residential building in the city of Dnipro, with the latest reports indicating that 20 individuals have died, including one child, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service on Sunday morning.
Valentin Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported that the death toll from the missile strike on the residential building has already reached 18. The fate of more than 40 individuals remains unknown.
The number of survivors has not changed, with 38 people being rescued from the rubble, including six children. The number of injuries has risen to 73, with 14 of those being children. Photos of the destroyed home have made the front pages of many global news outlets.
