Minister of Education Discusses Epidemiological Situation in Educational Institutions

The Minister of Education and Science, Zhanna Andreasyan, stated after a government meeting that the epidemiological situation in schools and other educational institutions is under control.

“Together with the Ministry of Health, we are, of course, monitoring the epidemiological situation and will be ready to take measures if necessary,” said Andreasyan.

According to her, to prevent the interruption of the educational process and curb the spread of the virus, the ministry is implementing an epidemiological filter so that sick children and staff do not attend school.

The minister noted that the coronavirus period has taught how to operate in such situations, particularly referring to the shift to remote learning.

“The situation is under constant monitoring, and if necessary, additional issues will certainly be discussed, but at this moment, there is no such necessity,” stated the Minister of Education and Science.
