Attention: There Are Closed and Impassable Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the Kʼari lake are closed.

The Vanadzor-Alaverdi road is impassable for trucks with trailers.

Snow is falling in the cities of Kapan, Goris, Kapan, Stepanavan, Vanadzor, Alaverdi, and in the Tavush region.

According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepanatsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
