What Has Been Decided for the Remaining Artsakh Schoolchildren in Armenia: Ministry of Education
Due to the blockade of the Berdzor corridor, school-aged children from Artsakh remaining in Armenia have been attending schools in the Republic of Armenia since January 9.
With the cooperation of the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science, the Yerevan City Hall, and the Syunik Regional Administration, school-aged children from Artsakh are attending general education schools in Goris and Yerevan, as well as vocational schools, based on the educational needs of the children.
The placement of students in schools has been based on the lists provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Artsakh. The Armenian Territorial Psychological and Pedagogical Support Centers are actively working with Artsakh children to provide psychological support.
In order to ensure the continuity of children's education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia is in constant communication with the Ministry of Education and Science of Artsakh.
