TV Channel 'Dozhd' Receives Broadcasting License in the Netherlands
The TV channel 'Dozhd' has received a broadcasting license in the Netherlands. This information was reported by Gоворит Москва. It is noted that the application was submitted at the beginning of last month.
The license granted by the Netherlands Media Authority is valid for a period of five years. Previously, the channel was broadcasting under documents issued by the Latvian regulator, which were revoked in early December.
The canceled license allowed for the dissemination of content in European Union countries, Russia, the USA, and other countries. The 'Dozhd' broadcasting license was rendered invalid following a scandal involving presenter Alexey Korostelev, who reported on supplies provided to Russian servicemen during the broadcast. The journalist was dismissed from his position, and the media's management apologized.
