After the 2018 Revolution, Some of Pashinyan's Relatives Have Left Armenia

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, addressing the issue of the businesses of high-ranking officials and their family members, responded:

“There are members of my family who have left Armenia after the 2018 revolution, because if they were to become deputies, it would be said that they were brought in and made deputies; if they were entrepreneurs, it would be said that they were engaged in business; if they were unemployed, it would be said that they are nothing.”

According to the Prime Minister, even if some officials' relatives work as laborers, people will still say that it is done only for show. He assured that no corrupt risk or illegal activity goes unpunished and that violating people's rights just because of a connection to power is unjust.
