Six Women Arrested for Hooliganism on Nalbandyan Street in Yerevan
On January 7, at 4:00 AM, officers from the first company of the first battalion of the Yerevan patrol service arrested five women on suspicion of hooliganism near one of the restaurants on Nalbandyan Street. One woman was taken to the hospital but, refusing medical assistance, later presented herself at the Central Police Department.
According to the Police of the Republic of Armenia, it was revealed that the women had engaged in a dispute, used obscene language, and physically assaulted each other around 3:50 AM, grossly violating public order. During the arrest, one of the women discarded a polyethylene package containing a greenish substance and an instrument intended for drug use.
An investigation is underway.
