Current Situation on Roads in Armenia: Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass can only be traversed by trucks with trailers using chains.

Snow has accumulated in the towns of Kapan, Kajaran, Goris, and in the Vayots Dzor region.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
