New Details on the Murder Near 'Degusto'
The law enforcement agencies have identified the deceased and three injured individuals who were transferred to hospitals from near the 'Degusto' fast food outlet in Yerevan on January 6.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a 20-year-old resident of Yerevan, Spartak H., was transferred to Isi Mirlyan Medical Center with a diagnosis of "stab wound to the left lateral abdominal area and dislocation of the right shoulder joint."
A 19-year-old resident of Yerevan, Hamlet H., was also admitted to the same hospital with a diagnosis of "stab wound to the left back area." A 26-year-old resident of Yerevan, Armen Z., was transferred to the same hospital with a diagnosis of "stab wound to the chest" and died without regaining consciousness.
It was also revealed that an 18-year-old resident of Yerevan, David M., was transferred to Kanakerr-Zeytun Medical Center with a diagnosis of "stab wounds to the abdominal area."
Police, investigators, prosecutors, and patrol officers from Yerevan found that five residents of Yerevan—19-year-old Narek Ter-B, 19-year-old Andranik M., 20-year-old Hakob A., 24-year-old Ashot E., and 18-year-old Edgar A.—got into a conflict at the intersection of Paruyr Sevak and Rubinyants streets in front of the mentioned fast food outlet with David M., Spartak H., Hamlet H., and Armen Z., during which they exchanged blows.
One of the participants in the argument inflicted bodily injuries with a knife he had, resulting in the death of Armen Z.
A criminal case has been initiated in the investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for the Kanakerr-Zeytun area on the grounds of murder.
The police and the investigative department are undertaking necessary operational-search and investigative joint actions to locate some participants of the conflict and recover the murder weapon—a knife.
