Russian Strategic Bombers Relocated to the East: What British Intelligence Reports
British intelligence reports indicate the relocation of Russian strategic bombers to the east. It is noted that this will complicate the aircraft maintenance process.
In today’s report from the UK Ministry of Defence, it is stated that Russia has responded to the December strikes on Engels Airport (Saratov region) by deploying Tu-22M3 and Tu-95MS bombers to eastern air bases. The aircraft will still be able to strike Ukraine, as the cruise missiles have a range of about 5000 kilometers; however, such long flights will create additional burdens and complicate the maintenance of the bombers.
