Next Week We Will Appoint Minister and Deputy Ministers: Nikol Pashinyan

“As you know, we have de jure created the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we are in the process of formation, and next week we will appoint a minister and deputy ministers. The police, rescue service, and migration and citizenship service fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Ministry will be based on these three main blocks,” stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the government session.

According to him, the head of the police and the head of the rescue service will be the deputy ministers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is worth noting that during the session on December 16, the National Assembly approved in the second reading and in full the legislative package on the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
