Video: Action in Support of Artsakh in Los Angeles. What Mayor Karen Bass Wrote

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has called for an end to the blockade of the Lachin Corridor: "I stand with the Armenian community of Los Angeles, calling for an end to the blockade of the Lachin Corridor. We must demonstrate our commitment to freedom by helping the people of Artsakh. This is a crisis, and inaction will exacerbate that crisis. Lives are at stake," Bass wrote on her Twitter account.

It is also noteworthy that protests in support of Artsakh are currently taking place in Los Angeles. A group of citizens have written in English on their vehicles: "Open the Road to Salvation," accompanied by the flag of Artsakh and calls for support.

Let us remind that it has been 24 days since the only road connecting Artsakh to the world, the Lachin Corridor, has remained closed. The corridor has been blocked by Azerbaijan since December 12, citing environmental false pretenses. As a result of Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor, a humanitarian crisis has emerged for 120,000 people in Artsakh, including 30,000 children, 20,000 elderly individuals, and around 9,000 persons with disabilities. Due to the closure of the road, 1,100 people, including 270 children, have been unable to return from Armenia to Artsakh.
