What Putin Told Aliyev in Today's Message

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, in a New Year congratulatory message to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, stated that in 2022 the two countries have reached a new level of cooperation. Trade turnover between the two nations has increased at a record pace, and collaboration in the fields of transportation and humanitarian issues has developed dynamically, as well as interregional cooperation.

According to the official website of the Kremlin, there is a conviction that joint efforts will ensure the comprehensive development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations for the benefit of friendly peoples and the strengthening of security and stability in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region.
