Video: How Chinese J-11 Fighter Maneuvered Dangerously Next to US RC-135 Reconnaissance Aircraft

The Pentagon has released footage and described how a Chinese J-11 fighter jet dangerously maneuvered next to a US RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft while flying over the South China Sea, as reported by MK.ru.

The air incident occurred last week. The Chinese fighter jet deliberately approached the American military aircraft to within 3 meters in order to force it to change course. According to the US side, the American aircraft was flying legally, while the Chinese pilot performed an unsafe maneuver.

The US military has emphasized that they consider the Indo-Pacific region to be free and open, and thus American aircraft and ships will continue to operate there in accordance with international law.
