Video: Nikol Pashinyan on the Situation in Artsakh
The humanitarian situation in Artsakh is worsening day by day due to the closure of the Lachin corridor. Hundreds of families continue to remain divided, trapped on different sides of the blockade, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at the start of the government meeting.
The shortage of essential goods is becoming increasingly noticeable, shop windows are emptying, and food supply restrictions are being imposed in public facilities. "The public is in a socio-psychological tense state. Considering all this, I have made a decision to form a working group to support the people of Artsakh in managing the established humanitarian crisis, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan. The group's task will be to carry out constant monitoring of humanitarian issues with the authorities of Artsakh and provide necessary urgent assistance, including with the help of international organizations," the Prime Minister stated.
