There Cannot Be a Ukrainian 'Peace Plan' That Does Not Take Current Realities Into Account: Peskov

Russia's presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that a 'peace plan' for Ukraine cannot exist without considering the incorporation of four new regions into Russia, as reported by Russia Today.

'There cannot be a Ukrainian 'peace plan' that does not take into account the current realities—Russia's territories, the four new regions that have joined Russia,' Peskov emphasized.

According to him, no plan that does not consider these realities can aspire to be called a peace initiative.

On December 26, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba announced that Kyiv intends to hold a peace summit at the UN by the end of February.

In October, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed laws accepting Donetsk and Luhansk, as well as Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation.
