Iran's Ambassador Summoned by Italy's Foreign Ministry

Iran's Ambassador to Italy, Mohammad Reza Sabouri, has been summoned by the country's Foreign Ministry. This was reported by the Azad Iran Telegram channel, referencing Italy's Foreign Ministry.

The ambassador was informed about the official position of Rome, which considers the Iranian government's repression of protesters unacceptable. Italy's Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani called the violence against detained protesters in Iran an outrage.

It is noteworthy that during his speech in Parliament on December 15, Tajani stated that the Iranian ambassador would be summoned to the Foreign Ministry immediately after presenting his credentials to the country's leadership.
