Bayramov Reveals Azerbaijan's Position in Negotiations with Armenia
Azerbaijan aims to achieve results in negotiations with Armenia, while the platform on which these negotiations are held is not a priority, said Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, according to TASS.
"The Azerbaijani side’s position is as follows: our main goal is for the negotiations to be effective. From this perspective, the platform for negotiations, although important, is not a priority for us," Bayramov stated.
He noted that Azerbaijan has always been willing to conduct negotiations on any platform. "We have demonstrated our openness to the process. The only exceptions are those platforms and individuals that have shown their bias and inability to maintain a neutral and fair position. Naturally, such platforms and participants are unacceptable to us," he emphasized.
"Overall, we do not rule out bilateral meetings with the Armenian side in the future. This is possible, and we have repeatedly proposed it, whether through trilateral meetings or other formats," Bayramov added.
