VIDEO: Discussion on Possible Increase of Red Lines Fees at the Municipality

During the latest session at the municipality, there was a discussion on the increase of service parking fees. In the future, the rates for red lines will change.

Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan, responding to this issue, stated that the red lines will become more expensive when we have adequate public transportation, which will encourage people to use it.

“When we have public transportation, meaning we can offer citizens alternative transportation options, then we should consider increasing the fees for parking in public areas. Right now, reforms in public transportation are underway. I believe that when we have a final solution, we can address this issue,” the mayor noted.
