Delegation of Protesters in Artsakh Meets with Peacekeepers

A representative from the Russian peacekeeping forces has agreed to meet with the delegation of protesters in the vicinity of the Stepanakert airport, led by Tigran Petrosyan.

According to Armenpress, after the meeting, Tigran Petrosyan reported that they conveyed their demand to meet with Andrey Volkov, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces. The initiative leader stated that they will remain at the airport until they can meet with Andrey Volkov and present their demands.

"We specifically want to meet with Andrey Volkov to communicate our requests to him so he can relay them to his superiors. We will wait as long as it takes until the way is clear, because this is our just demand," said Tigran Petrosyan.

It is worth mentioning that today, a group of protesters marched from the 'We Are Our Mountains' memorial towards the Stepanakert airport. According to the organizers, the purpose of the action is to meet with Andrey Volkov and assert their rights.
