Airlines Should Be Held Accountable for Cancelling Thousands of Flights Due to Bad Weather, Biden Says

American airlines that have cancelled numerous flights due to inclement weather during the Christmas holiday should be held accountable to passengers. This was stated by U.S. President Joe Biden.

“Thousands of flights have been cancelled across the country this holiday season. Our administration is working to ensure that airlines are held responsible for it,” he wrote on Twitter.

The President urged those affected by flight cancellations to consult the transportation department's guidance to check if they are eligible for compensation.
