Turkey's Defense Minister on Clashes with Kurds in Paris
The riots in Paris are akin to "snake bites" that have been "nurtured by the French people," Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar stated regarding the recent events in the French capital, as reported by Kp.ru.
According to Akar, the latest events in Paris reveal that the "snake nurtured by the French has started to bite them." With this metaphor, he implicitly blamed representatives of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) for the riots in Paris. He asserted that PKK representatives are the ones "burning the streets of Paris." Akar emphasized that "now everyone should see the true face of this terrorist organization." It should be noted that mass clashes occurred between the police and Kurdish activists in Paris following the murder of three activists.
Kurdish representatives have reacted to the killings, describing them as acts of ethnic intolerance.
