The Supreme Judicial Council Has Terminated Judge Anna Pilosyan's Powers
The Supreme Judicial Council has decided to terminate the powers of Judge Anna Pilosyan, as announced on her Facebook page.
“As I depart from the judiciary, I would like to express my gratitude to the third President of Armenia for appointing me as a judge through his decree, to the Justice Council of Armenia's 2013 composition for granting me the exceptional opportunity to serve my Homeland and justice. I thank Judge Arthur Smbatyan, who introduced me to the judiciary in 2008, for teaching me the values of integrity and fairness. I am grateful to the legal community for our prolonged and effective collaboration. I appreciate my staff for their unwavering dedication in lightening my heavy burdens. I wish strength and integrity to the judges who are currently serving and succeeding me, that they remain steadfastly committed to this honorable position. I thank the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Karen Andreasian, and members Haik Grigoryan, Vigen Kocharyan, Yeranuhi Tumanyants, Nayra Hovsepyan, and Mesrop Makyan for their role in my return to my family and children, albeit in an extremely unjust manner. I also thank the members of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ani Mikhetyan and Davit Khachatryan, for their votes. I believe I have earned the right to declare that I leave as I came, with a clear conscience and an unwavering forehead.”
