Road Closures and Fog: The Situation in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and to the Kar Lake are closed.

In the high-altitude areas of the Syunik region, there is fog.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the emergency management departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
