Death Toll from Snowstorm in the U.S. Reaches 50

At least 50 people have died in the U.S. due to the snowstorm, according to NBC News.

“As of this morning, the snowstorm has claimed at least 50 lives... Deaths have been reported in 12 states: Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Wisconsin,” the network reported.

It is worth noting that in Buffalo, snow accumulations have exceeded 1 meter. Due to severe weather, more than 2000 flights have been canceled across the country.
