Bus Falls from Bridge in Spain, Leaving Casualties and Injured
In northwestern Spain, a passenger bus has veered off a bridge and plunged into a rushing river, resulting in the death of six individuals and injuries to two others. This was reported by Spain's emergency services. Reuters has the details.
The two survivors, a 63-year-old driver and a female passenger, were rescued from the river by firefighters using a rope and were subsequently transported to nearby hospitals with varying degrees of injuries.
According to a police representative, the driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs.
