Azerbaijani Dictator Repeats Claims That Armenia is 'Western Azerbaijan': Vardan Voskanyan
Iran expert Vardan Voskanyan writes: “The Azerbaijani dictator has again spouted nonsense during a meeting with a group of so-called 'intellectual' Azerbaijanis claiming that Armenia is supposedly 'Western Azerbaijan', citing numerous so-called 'facts'.
In nearly every inch of Armenian land, our glorious ancestors have left behind the signatures of our country's Armenian cultural identity, crafting a unique and distinctly Armenian cultural environment for millennia. The remnants of a medieval church, hidden behind the bushes and trees beside me in this photo, testify to the fact that this land is both sacred and Armenian, and the barbaric claims to even an inch of it are an affront that should be punished.”
It should be noted that today marks the 14th day that Azerbaijanis have blocked the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, deliberately creating a humanitarian crisis for the people of Artsakh.
