6.5 million drams for vacation: Jalal Harutyunyan's declaration
The head of the Military Inspection Service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Jalal Harutyunyan, whose duties have been suspended, has submitted a declaration upon resigning from his position. This information has been reported by Tert.am, citing the Corruption Prevention Commission.
Harutyunyan declared an apartment in the capital of Artsakh, gifted to him by the Defense Army in 2001, as well as a piece of land in his son's name, inherited in 2007.
In 2021, he acquired a 1996 model Mercedes truck and declared 148 thousand drams in his bank account. Over the course of 2022, in the first eight months, his salary totaled 7 million 195 thousand drams.
He spent 585 thousand drams on his minor son's courses and 6 million 460 thousand drams for vacation in 2022. The vacation expenses included airplane tickets, train, bus, and boat tickets, as well as accommodation costs.
