Three Kurds Killed in Shooting in Paris

Three Kurds were killed in a shooting in the 10th district of Paris. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing a representative from the Kurdish community.

It has been noted that dozens of Kurds gathered at the site of the shooting, which was cordoned off by police. They were chanting anti-Turkish slogans, believing that Turkey is behind the attack. Reinforced police patrol units have been dispatched to the scene.

“As a result of the shooting, three Kurds were killed. The Kurdish cultural center where the attack occurred was not secured at all, and anyone could have entered,” one of the Kurdish representatives told the agency.

On Friday, a 69-year-old man opened fire on the streets of the 10th district of Paris. He has since been taken into custody, and his motives remain unknown. According to Agence France-Presse, he is of French nationality and is known to police for two attempted murders in 2016 and 2021.

According to the latest reports, three people have died from the shooting, with two others in serious condition and two in moderate condition. The Paris prosecutor's office has launched a murder investigation.
