12.5 kg of gold discovered at judge's home: 'Joghovurd'
According to exclusive information from 'Joghovurd' newspaper, approximately 12.5 kg of gold was discovered in an apartment on Orbeli Street in Yerevan, belonging to one of Armenia's judges.
Reports indicate that the judge bequeathed the apartment to his daughter before passing away, and she has not resided in the country for an extended period. Subsequently, she requested cleaning services to tidy the apartment, leading to this discovery.
Authorities are investigating the origin of the gold, whether it belonged to the deceased judge or to another individual who had connections to the judge's residence.
It is important to note that the judge is deceased, and 12.5 kg of gold bullion has been found in his apartment. His name has not been disclosed to avoid public shaming of the deceased.
Recall that the Investigative Committee of Armenia reported that as part of investigative actions, two residents of Yerevan have presented separate instances of gold bullion hidden in different locations, one weighing 6 kg 860 g, and the other 5 kg 652 g, both complete and fragmented.
