VIDEO: Azerbaijani 'Environmentalists' Prevent Russian Peacekeepers' Vehicles from Passing
The Ombudsman of Artsakh has published a video on Twitter showing a blocked section of the Lachin Corridor, where Azerbaijani 'environmentalists' are preventing vehicles belonging to the Russian peacekeeping force from passing. Two Azerbaijanis command everyone to gather tightly in the center of the road to completely block it, shouting, 'Everyone to the center, everyone in (towards the road)!'
It is noteworthy that since 10:30 AM on December 12, communication has been interrupted between the villages of Lisagor, Matesh, Hin Shen, and Yeghdzahogh in the Shushi region and the capital Stepanakert. A group of Azerbaijanis, again citing environmental reasons, has closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway. On December 13, the Azerbaijani side also cut off gas supplies to Artsakh.
Under the leadership of Artsakh’s State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, an operational headquarters has been established to coordinate actions in response to the situation created by the blockade of the road connecting Armenia and Azerbaijan, which operates 24/7. Protests have begun near various organizations and embassies in Armenia starting December 14.
