Turkish Ambassador Arrives at Lachin Corridor in Azerbaijan

The Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan, Jahit Bagci, has arrived at a section of the Lachin road, where Azerbaijani self-proclaimed environmentalists are holding a protest.

It is worth recalling that the Minister of State of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, discussed the situation in Artsakh during a live broadcast. He stated, "Yesterday, there was a meeting of the UN Security Council that addressed the issue of Artsakh. This is very important because the question of Artsakh was raised from the highest platform. We have been under blockade for more than 200 hours, and the UN's response in this regard has been unacceptable and sharp; I want to thank all the members for their support," said the state minister.

Azerbaijan has launched a large-scale campaign under state sponsorship, violating the clauses of the trilateral agreement, which stipulates that there should be a connection between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh via the Lachin corridor. This announcement was made by the Permanent Representative of Armenia to the UN, Mhher Margaryan, during the UN Security Council meeting.

Earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the UN Security Council would hold a meeting at Armenia’s request regarding the situation at the border with Azerbaijan.
