Zelensky Arrives in Donetsk on Unannounced Visit
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has arrived unannounced in the city of Bakhmut, located in the Donetsk region. This information was reported by Freedom's correspondents.
The confirmation of the Ukrainian leader's visit was provided by presidential press secretary Sergey Nikiforov in a comment to Hromadske. He stated, “He has been at the front line, awarding fighters and giving valuable gifts; the president has already left Bakhmut.”
Bakhmut remains one of the hottest spots on the front line.
It is worth recalling that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to carry out a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had requested help.
