VIDEO: Flights Without Passengers from Artsakh
For the 8th consecutive day, flights from Zvartnots International Airport are operating without passengers from Artsakh. All travelers who had previously purchased tickets are unable to reach their destinations.
On December 12, around 10:30 AM, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothing, again citing environmental reasons, closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway. The Azerbaijani side, violating the provisions of the trilateral agreement from November 9, 2020, has blocked the only road connecting Artsakh to the world on environmental grounds, infringing on the vital interests and rights of the civilian population.
On December 13, Azerbaijan also halted gas supplies to Artsakh. On December 16, Artsakh’s State Minister Ruben Vardanyan stated during a live broadcast that without any preconditions and without any concessions from their part, Azerbaijan has restored the gas supply.
The only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia remains closed.
