Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Visit Saint Petersburg
On December 26-27, an informal summit of the leaders of the CIS member states will take place in Saint Petersburg. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already confirmed his participation.
Auroranews contacted Armen Khachatryan, the head of the Prime Minister's office's media and public relations department, to understand whether a trilateral meeting involving Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan is planned. Khachatryan stated that if such an arrangement is made, they will inform the public. “There is no such agenda yet,” Khachatryan said.
It should be recalled that on December 14, the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, announced that Pashinyan, Aliyev, and Putin would have the opportunity to communicate in Saint Petersburg.
“There are no specific agreements regarding a trilateral meeting of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia—Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev, and Nikol Pashinyan. However, they can discuss these matters within the framework of the informal summit of the CIS in Saint Petersburg,” noted the Russian presidential spokesperson.
